PRODUCT OF THE DAY: Revlon Custom Eyes eyeshadow quad

I am so happy i've stumbled upon this eyeshadow palette from Revlon - The CustomEyes.

It opens on the leftmost side which i thought was unique (in some ways) and comes with a double ended sponge tip applicator.  I personally like using my eyeshadow brushes anyway, but its nice to have it, just in case.  It would've been better in my opinion, if it came with a mirror, so if you need to apply on the go..its more convenient that way.

And although it is from the drugstore, the quality of the eyeshadows (atleast from this palette) is excellent.  They are soft & buttery, easy to blend and very pigmented.  Ive included a short clip for you guys to see the beauty of all these colours in action ^_^

i got mine from Walmart and i believe it was around $10.

PRODUCT OF THE DAY: Revlon Lash Potion Mascara

The Revlon Lash Potion.

This is the prettiest mascara tube I have ever seen, and to be quite honest, I bought it at first because of the packaging (don't we all sometimes hey?)

The first time I tried this, I wasn't really impressed... I couldn't find a waterproof version and of course, it smudged.  Secondly, I found it that it was a bit wet for my liking, and it doesn't hold the curl of my lashes.. so in a nutshell, i hid it in my makeup drawer for a bit..

I've heard other makeup artists or make up gurus on youtube that they open a mascara and won't use it til after a week or two, and it will perform how it should.

And so I did too...

... i LOVE this mascara!!!!

It holds the curl of my lashes, gives them a noticeable length and volume..its super black

i really have nothing bad to say about this product and i highly recommend this! 

i was so happy when i finally found the waterproof version! it was like ....aaahhhhhh 

the gates of heaven open, and i can hear angels singing... lol!

which mascara are you guys obsessing over at the moment? let me know which is your favourite!

Nail of the moment: Revlon

Products used:

Revlon Gel Smooth base coat

Maybelline nailpolish in Bold Gold

Revlon nailpolish in 490 Urban *

Nail tape (from Ebay)

steps:

1. Apply base coat 

2. Apply Gold nail polish - make sure its thoroughly dry for when you apply the tape

3. Using nail tape, lay out the pattern of your choice (cut tape longer so its easier to pull out)

4. Apply navy blue polish 

5. Carefully remove the nail tape to reveal the pattern underneath

and voila! your Nautical inspired nail design is done!

I had the opportunity to test out this new product from Almay, that boasts to give all that our lips need: 'colour, shine, moisture' and boy oh boy was I surprised!  The fact that i've never tried any Almay products before this ever, Im kind of questioning myself as to why not?

But its too late for regrets now... 

So anyway, I applied the liquid lip balm on, and my lips felt so soft and hydrated the entire time.  And even after the product had wore off, my lips were left super moisturized!  I loved it!  The Color+ Care liquid lip balms contatain avocado oil and vitamin E.  It also is fragrance and Gluten free, hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested for you lovelies with super delicate skin ^_^

These will come in 10 different shades and will be available on July 2013 in Canada.

200 Nudetrients - this is a very milky slightly pinkish colour
